Leslie's Alum is an effective flocculant product to help you effectively clear up cloudy pool water quickly and easily. When your pool is filled with small contaminants that even the filter can't capture, just one treatment of this aluminum enhancer is all you need. Alum will bond the contaminants together so they'll fall out of suspension and sink to the bottom of the pool where they can be vacuumed out. You'll be left with water that's clean, clear, and sparkling. A small amount of alum can also be used as a sand filter additive to boost filtration efficiency.
Dosage: 4-12 lbs per 10,000 gallons.
