Spa Cover Features
Double-Wrapped Core
Get extra moisture protection with TWO layers of heat sealed 6 mil polyethylene sheeting. It virtually eliminates saturation, adding more years to the life of your cover! A $30 upgrade on all purchases.
Tapered Closed Cell Virgin Foam
We use virgin foam for all of our hot tub covers. Virgin Foam (or EPS) is a closed cell foam that does not absorb moisture. EPS is cut with hot wires that melt through the foam and seal the cells. Sealing the cells ensures the foam will not absorb moisture. The 4-inch to 2-inch tapered spa cover features closed cell virgin foam core insulation in a variety of densities to meet every specific need. Our tapers are the best when it comes to cover strength and heat retention all while keeping the cover weight as minimal as possible.
20-Gauge Steel Channels
Our hot tub covers are strong. For added reinforcement, a 20-gauge steel center channel is inserted into both pieces of foam insulation to strengthen the cover’s center and provide extra strong support.
Sturdy, Four Layer Hinge
The hinges on hot tub covers are critical stress points which make these areas sturdier by using four layers of reinforced vinyl. The design and function of our hinge has been tested through thousands of folds to ensure reliable use for years of opening and closing of your spa cover.
Continuous Heat Seal
This popular option for colder climates fills the void along the seam, which helps cut heating costs and will pay for itself in energy savings. As an added benefit, the seal provides structural support where it is most important, at the center, which prevents sagging, and extends the life of your cover. ** Included with Energy Save, Ultra, and Works covers. Heavy-Duty Windstraps
Protecting your cover from strong winds and unwanted guests. Our ASTM safety approved Heavy-Duty Windstraps with locking safety clips are automatically included with your new Hot Tub Cover. Ideal for windy climates, these upgraded, super-strong straps are reinforced with layers of scrim and double sewn to the spa cover.
