Cyanuric Acid (CYA), which protects chlorine from the sun's UV rays, is found in stabilized chlorine products. Also known as stabilizer or conditioner, excessive amounts of this chemical can build up in pool water over time. Now with Leslie's ClearAway CYA, it has never been easier to remove it from your swimming pool!

A pool's ideal CYA level is between 30 - 100 ppm, which protects chlorine from sunlight and allows it to work most effectively. Use Leslie's ClearAway CYA to lower high CYA levels or maintain ideal levels in your pool.

Leslie's ClearAway CYA can reduce CYA by 15 - 20 ppm per week, depending on flow rate and pump run time. The amount of CYA removed depends on contact time as the water flows through the pouch.

ClearAway CYA Remover works by filtering out total dissolved solids, which includes minerals, salts, and other contaminants, along with cyanuric acid (CYA). Please use caution when adding water clarifiers or flocculants near the skimmer as that can lead to potentially overwhelming the pool filtration system.

Please Note: Remove the ClearAway CYA Remover pouch from the skimmer basket whenever adding chlorine to the pool. This includes adding pool shock such as calcium hypochlorite, sodium dichlor chlorine granular, etc.

Please Note: Be sure that the ClearAway CYA Remover pouch is seated well into the skimmer basket and is flush around the edges for best coverage. Keeping the outside of the pouch clean of dirt and debris will help ensure optimal water flow through the pouch.
