The Challenger® High Flow Pump has been the standard workhorse for in ground pools for over 40 years combining efficient, quiet, and tireless performance with strength and durability! Challenger® features a fiberglass reinforced housing, heavy-duty 56 square flange motor, and closed impeller, along with an extra-large pump basket that extends time between cleanings. An extra-tall motor stand keeps it high and dry so it won't rust. Best of all, Challenger® has do-it-yourself covered, minimizing service calls. An outside-mount start capacitor is easy to replace and a one-bolt band clamp connects the volute to the motor mount making access to the impeller and diffuser quick and easy! Finally, Challenger® includes an easy-to-turn, see-thru lid, tool-less drain plugs, and 2" ports for rapid flow and quiet operation. 1-Year Warranty.
