The Century Purex Pump Motor combines aggressive performance with a bold design for a powerfully engineered replacement motor. Accommodating either Class B or Class F insulation, the Century Purex is built to keep cool and sports an open drip proof design to prevent water damage. With a Service Factor of 1.15, it is protected from overloading for reliable performance, and it includes a threaded shaft for easy installation. It is available in Single or Three Phase and runs between 5HP-20HP and 3450RPM/2850RPM.
Three Phase wiring runs steady and even for dependable performance and provides constant power without requiring a starting capacitor
The different frame types include: C, J, Y, Z, JM, JP, or TCZ. These letters are combined with numbers to define standard specifications including the way the motor mounts onto the pump, its shaft height, and diameter
